The sound came from all around the place, too loud to avoid and rocking enough as it should be in such circumstance, but impacted as lullabies on our ears. The megaphones silenced when the main stage announced the killing of four more protesters. Among the enthusiastic songs followed that announcement, I could recognize the wailing coming from old ladies and even young girls, too young to experience all of these tragedies. Men were crying too by squeezing their jaws and looking totally firmly. The chants raised suddenly when they brought the new flag, colourful and bright. I closed my eyes and tilted my head to a wall far away in the square, and since that moment whenever I go to sleep I hear the same mixed voices, crying and wailing as well as chants and songs….then when you ask me if I had forgotten Tahrir, do not expect me to answer!
